There's a provocative theory at the heart of this book - and to get to it, you have to read a cracking good story. The book has introduced me to some startling ideas that I might have rejected had the book not been an account of Hilary Carter's actual experiences. Alongside the story with fascinating and amusing glimpses of village life in the Alpujarra mountains of Spain, there's some history of the area and a lot of information about some fairly esoteric topics, including psychic dowsing, astral bodies and space clearing - all part and parcel of her compelling story. Hilary Carter's encounters and experiences ultimately led to a cathartic healing of her own and this book may give you the courage, as it has me, to reconsider the way you live your life.
